I am passionate about the Earth and all that she has to offer. Colours, Tastes, Sights, Sounds, Textures to nourish its life. Nutrition to me is about this relationship between the Earth and it's life. So no need to say that I stand for ORGANIC, WHOLE, NATURAL (unprocessed) foods as much as possible.
As you nourish your body with the right foods, this relationship grows and your connection to the whole deepens. There is no need for diets, special programs, drama and neurosis about food. It is very simple. Your consciousness changes and you understand that everything you put in your body will either nourish life or death. Then the choice becomes obvious and you see your food as your medicine. So, there is also no need to take large amounts of any medicine to see results. You need to find your balance each day, each moment and honestly look inside to know how much food and what kind of food is right to you at each moment.
Then all is left is to have fun with the "LIFE" (foods) that the Earth has offered to you.

What you eat can also be a huge support as you go through different stages in your life. Your food choices can help reduce fatigue, mood swings, PMS, boost fertility, combat stress, make pregnancy easier, and ease the symptoms of menopause and keeps you looking your best. Whatever your age, committing to proper nutrition will help you look and feel your best so that you stay on top of your commitments and enjoy life. The Inner Calling

Today I was feeling my knees calling my attention. Although I have been eating a lots of calcium rich foods, I am a breastfeeding mother and I thought that I might needed more calcium in my body. So, I picked up different supplements in my hands and brought them closer to my heart, closed my eyes and asked my body if I needed that particular one that I had in my hands. My body responded with a big No many times, until I began getting frustrated and decided to drink some water instead. When i held the glass of water in my hands, I notice my whole body shift forward almost like "grasping" towards the cup of water. I realized what my body was desperately craving is WATER not foods or supplements. So, I drank lots of water and my knees feel so much better.
Most of us are walking dehydrated and when the body begins complaining with headaches, nausea, different pains, we think we are lacking some sort of food or nutrient but LOTS of times, it is as simple as drinking more fluids! I thought this could be a good reminder to share with all of you.

Then i went for a bike ride and I stopped in a field full of dandelions and red clover. I couldn't resist this time and I began picking all those beautiful red clover blossoms for a MAGIC HEALING TEA CONCOCTION.

Red clover is considered to be one of the richest sources of isoflavones (water-soluble chemicals that act like estrogens and are found in many plants). It is used for hot flashes/flushes, PMS, lowering cholesterol, breast health, improving urine production and improving circulation of the blood. It is also used to help prevent osteoporosis, reduce the possibility of blood clots and arterial plaques.

Red clover is a source of many valuable nutrients including calcium, chromium, magnesium, niacin, phosphorus, potassium, thiamine, and vitamin C. Nature is indeed our medicine! Just what I needed it!
